Katy Olson covers the Hell’s Kitchen beat.

Katy grew up in Forest Hills, Queens, and graduated with a degree in English and journalism from Fordham University in the Bronx. She has worked at America Magazine and as a writer and researcher for People Magazine’s People.com.

As an editor at Hearst’s King Features Syndicate, today Katy works with newspaper columnists, helps develop columns, puzzles and games, and reviews books for a syndicated weekly service. She is a contributing writer for Spectrum, a magazine for families with autistic children, and Pleiades, a literary journal. Katy lives in Morningside Heights.
