Laura Dodd is covering the higher education beat.

After graduating with a degree in political science and a minor in creative writing from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., Laura worked in Los Angeles on feature films and television series such as JAG and NCIS. Today, she is writing a forthcoming nonfiction book. After watching scores of friends struggle with the question, “What do you want to do?” Laura set out to provide an answer, profiling forty different young adults and their careers across 10 different industries, including environment and news among others in a soon-to-be-published, Do You Dig This Gig?

Laura plans to work in television news production after graduation. She lives in Manhattan.
